Fares vary according to distance. Day passes that work on both buses and trains are available.

Dublin bus
Dublin Bus operates the bus service in Dublin. Most bus routes start at O'Connell Street, Abbey Street or Eden Quay on the norht side and for the south sid at Aston Quay and College Street. The correct bus fare is needed or use a pass that must be validated as you enter the bus. The main office is at 59 O'Connell Street (873 4222)

Dublin trains
The DART rail service runs along the coast between Greystones in the south and Howth and Malahide in the north.The Luas is a light rail service, the green line runs between St. Stephen's Green and Sandyford and the red line, from Connolly Station to Tallaght.

Dublin taxi
